Summer

Well, this summer was a total fail! Here were all the things that were on my summer bucket list--
Sew 2 articles if clothing- FAIL!
Make a new backpack- FAIL!
Finish reading matched and crossed- I'm in the middle of crossed....
Finish my paper mâché unicorn- FAIL! John threw it away and I really didn't want to make a new one...
Sleep on the trampoline- SUCCESS!
Go to 5 thrift stores- only went to 2. FAIL!
Take all babysitting jobs- SUCCESS!
Start and finish 5 pinterest projects- FAIL! Not even 1...
Get tan- eh...

Sooo, I have one week left of summer and a bunch to do, so if someone would like to help me finish all this stuff you'll be my hero :)

I think I'm ready for school to start, summer is just too boring to me and I'm excited for my classes and jazz like that, heh, and that brings me to my schedule!

B8- aerobics
I'm pretty happy with it, except health, it'll probably be the worst... I'm way excited for aerobics and maybe I can get my 8 minute mile! Woohoo!

Gave up

Ha i sort of gave up on the California trip posts :\ the rest of the time we pretty much just hung out..
Yesterday I hung out with 3 of my best friends and it was like the greatest day of my life!! We didn't even do anything special, just being with them and going with the flow was just so fun! Later in the day we found a little "midget hideout" in my friend's kitchen in the basement under the counter :) we divided that we're gonna put carpet in it and blankets and pillows all over so we can just hang out in there cause its pretty huge! I was babysitting my cousins and the had just gotten new bed that had a big storage area under and they called it a midget hideout, it was pretty funny :)

Yesterday

Didn't really have any time to post something, so I'll do it today. First I went to the beach, then showered at my great aunt's and finally went to Wicked. It was the best play I've ever seen! We had okay seats.. We were on the upper balcony on the left side so we had a side view and it was really far away. The beach was really fun too, the waves were perfect (not too crazy, not too calm) hope you're having a good summer!

Woohoo! I'm soo excited! I get to go see Wicked tomorrow on "broadway" (broadway San Diego) get to check that off my bucket list! :) yay so excited!! And I'm also going to the beach tomorrow! I think it'll be a good time here in California. And I'll try to take pics everyday. This is the only one I got today cause all we did was drove.

My MRI

My doctor ordered me an MRI cause of my migraines so this morning I went in for it, and it was so scary! I first had to get and IV and it was terrible... I hate iv's. (I had to get one last year for my oral surgery :p ) they're just so gross.. Then going in the machine was super scary. I felt like a corpse being covered up and put into the drawer thing in the wall, not very fun. Then it was super loud and I didnt want to open my eyes cause I think that would have made me more scared, but at the same time I wanted to look, just for memories. But I didn't. So now I have dye in my blood and this

My summer so far

I started my summer vacation on the 1st an I pretty much just did nothing until the 4th and I went to girls camp. I've been meaning to put the pictures up all week, but I've just been to busy doing nothing. I got back last Friday and still did nothing. On Monday I went to the dentist and then to 7 peaks, but it wasn't very fun... I don't know why... Then Tuesday I did nothing, Wednesday my mom took me over to my grammas house where my moms aunt and cousins were staying. My moms cousins are a lot younger than any of her other cousins (like the oldest is in college, the middle is almost 16 And the youngest is like 10) anyways, no one was at my grammas house except Maddy (the 15 yr old) so we watched this really stupid show called Bridezillas... Funniest show you will ever see!! A little later my cousin McKinsey came with her brother Stockton and our cousin Caleb and took us to trafalga. I seriously think they should turn on the AC! It was hotter in the building than it was outside and it was like 87°!!! But we had a fun time, then I had to babysit my other cousins, so Kinsey and the others dropped me off at their house and ya. Then Thursday, I went shopping with my mom and Hailey. We went to Smith's, then Kohl's (where I got some really cute shorts that were very much needed!) and the dollar store. It wasn't very exciting but better than the other days. And yesterday we went to the AF pool with some cousins so that was fun. My little cousin collin (he's 3 and Sooo cute) was there and he was begging his mom to take him to the lazy river but she wouldnt, I came back from the pool so I could tan and I sat down, and Collin looked at me and smiled a little bit then put on a sad face and walked over to me. "bwookwynn, will you take me to da wazy wivoh?" what a little turd. So I told him I would in a little bit. Then he tried to make himself cry, "pwease!!" and I ended taking him to the wazy wivoh.. It was a pretty fun day.
And today I have no plans, so it will probably be another boring day..

Situation

Today was the last day of school, so of course I wanted to hang out with my friends.. ((for this story I'm gonna use numbers instead of names))

Alright, so I texted 1 and 2 to see if they could hang out, but neither of them replied. So I texted 3 and she said that 1 and 2 just called her to hang out and that they were gonna have a picnic. 3 told me to call 1 and 2 cause maybe they just didn't get my texts. First I called 1 and she didn't answer, then I called 2 and she said she had to do something for voice lessons, and then she had to go to young women's, so she couldn't hang out. When I hung up I was a little confused and a little angry that she would lie to me, because one- voice lessons are on Wednesday's and two- 3 told me they were gonna have a picnic. 1 texted back shortly after and said nope, I have something for voice and have to do chores.. Now I feel really mad that two of my BEST friends would lie to me. I know that if they didn't want to hang out with me they just didn't want to hurt my feelings but I'm sure they didn't realized that I would ever find out that they lied, and there probably wasn't a good way to tell the truth without hurting my feelings.

But to end on a happy note, schools out!!! To keep myself from boredom, I made a summer bucket list--
• sew 2 articles of clothing
• make a new backpack
• finish reading Matched & Crossed
• finish making my paper mâché unicorn
• sleep on the trampoline
• go to 5 different thrift stores (I love thrifting)
• take all babysitting jobs (as long as I'm not out of town)
• start and finish 5 pinterest projects
• get tan!

I'm really hoping to do all of these! I don't think itll be that hard. And I'll try to take pics of lots of stuff I do this summer

Utah Shakespearean Festival!

I tried out to be on my school's Shakespeare team to perform in cedar city for the Utah Shakespearean Festival :) I had to perform 2 monologues to our drama teacher, and I forgot in both of them.. Sooo I totally didn't think that I would make it.. But I did!!!! I'm sooooo excited! I'm just in the ensemble scene (which I'm perfectly fine with) maybe next year I'll try out for a monologue or dialogue. Pretty much what I get to do is have my mom pay $200 for me to go, have myself earn around $75 for food (3 days) and souvenirs! I'm super super excited!! The $200 pays for tickets to 3 plays, a hotel room, and other stuff like that. There aren't that many rehearsals for performers when we're in cedar, so that means that we have quite a bit of free time to pretty much do whatever we want in cedar city :)) it's gonna be so fun cause a bunch of my friends made it too!! Yep, I'm even counting down the days!! 141 days!

room ideas?

 So this post was supposed to be up like 3 weeks ago, but, the old blogger was giving me problems and I wasnt able to finish.. Luckly this amazing new blogger (which I love!) will let me finish.

I'm being quit indesisive about how i want to decorate my new room. I probably shouldn't even be worrying about because the basement probable won't be done for.. hm, a while. Here's what i'm thinking.. (I dont really care about the colors because i think all colors are created equally)and i like all colors except ugly ones:)

Paris Theme:

I like the plain-ness of this one.

But i like this one a little more because of the plain-ness but with a little more decoration.

This one's my favorite :) just dont know where I would keep all my stuff...

Its been too long

Haven't posted for way too long. I don't have much to really talk about in particular, but just a couple updates.
Ive gotten better on my mile run! Down to 8:37!! Woohoo!
I started reading the hunger games last week. Holy cow! I don't read and there is one book and 2 series that are my absolute favorite, and I think the hunger games just passes all of them!! It's so good even tho I haven't finished it! So I think everyone should read it. I'd go see it with my friends this weekend, but, my mom decided to ground me for another week cause I didnt go to church ball.. I think that is a stupid punishment. Even my gramma thinks thats a dumb punishment! What I mean by ANOTHER week is, this is the 4TH WEEK IN A ROW ive been grounded! The first week i got grounded was because I didn't go to stake conference (which thats an ok punishment, and I think I deserved it) the 2nd week i got in trouble for such a dumb reason that I don't even remember. The 3rd week, on a Saturday I was babysitting at my house and my friends come over without even telling me, my mom kinda let it fly, but then on Monday I wasn't ready for my friend to come over, cause my chores and stuff weren't done, but she came over and a little later my mom was like, "I need to talk to you. Blah, blah, blah, you're grounded for the week cause you weren't supposed to have friends over until you check with me" wow, so that's just great. And now, the 4th week in a row, I think she's looking for ways to ground me.. If I get grounded next week, I'm going to live somewhere else. Don't know where, but I'm not staying here!
I think in done with my sh'peal (?) I'm really angry about being grounded.....

My amazing cooking skills! ((plus more))

Kay so I found this recipe on pinterest for pizza bites/rolls... Decided I would make them... & they were amazing! The original pic & mine will be at the bottom.. They were super easy! The only I would change is to use pizza dough instead of biscuits (from a can) it kinda made them taste biscuit-y.. So I'll use pizza dough next time.
II think it was yesterday, I registered for 8th grade! Ah! I'm so old! I don't wanna grow up :( oh well... Here are my electives

:) I'm getting really excited for when our basement gets finished :) even tho that probably won't be for at LEAST a year... :( I think that my room will be finished by then but probably not the bathroom :( shoot. Oh well.. So I've been measuring, planning, and looking up some good decorating ideas on pinterest, & I think I've got it just the way I want it :) let's hope it works out!
All this week (since last Monday) I've been pushing myself to write in my journal, read my scriptures, & pray every night.. So far, I've only missed one day & that was friday, I was soo tired that night.. But ya, it's helped me to be less stressed and happier :)
Whoo! On Saturday, no one was home, so I thought.. Hm, I think there's an extra tv downstairs.. Why don't I bring it up?.. And so I went down to the basement, found the tv, picked it up, & almost dropped it! Holy moly! That thing is like 17 years old, and like twice the weight of hailey! I'm surprised I didn't break my back lugging it up 2 flights of stAirs!! I hooked up the wii and played MarioKart & watched Netflix the rest of the day.. Which that brings me to yesterday.... So Sunday night it was about time to get ready for bed and I realized that the next day was a minimal day.. Woo-hoo! But I still did not want to go to school :( so I talked to my mom and we worked it put that I could stay home if I did some chores, indexing, and cook dinner.. Not too bad, so I agreed. I got the indexing done, and dinner.. But no chores :) I played more MarioKart & and watched Netflix :) it was a pretty good day, I even made it better by wearing sweats :)

Cooking mama

I feel like I've spent a lot of time in the kitchen the last 2 days.. Even tho it was probably only like, mm 6ish hours.. Sunday night hailey and I had the house to ourselves for the evening while the other 3 went to the seminary conference thing... Sooo, I decided to make some cinnamon rolls, rolls, and loaves of bread. First time by myself making these, I'd say I did a pretty decent job. Then last night I made baked fried chicken (from pinterest) mmm, mmm, mmmmm!! It was mighty fine! And the rolls I made. Oh! Almost forgot, and I also made cookies yesterday.. I am kind of sick of the kitchen now. Ugh, 10ish more years and I'll have to do this stuff every night! Sheesh! Isn't it just easier to buy some frozen pizzas?! Oh well, I better get used to it now.... Overall I guess it wasn't too bad, the worst part was cleaning up.. :\ hate that part!

New years resolutions

1st resolution-handwriting. I like my handwriting.... But I changes like every day! And I want consistent handwriting, so that is something to work on this year

2nd resolution- money. Save money, live better. Jk:) but I do really want to save my money better... I think I have gotten a lot better at saving the last little while. Right now I have $61 and then I'll have 30 more today, cause $5 for my jobs, and $25 for grades (all a's baby!!! Yaya!) oh yeah, then I owe my mom $8 for Netflix (I signed up for Netflix for myself:) so whoever uses it has to pay me:))

3rd resolution- run. I really want to become a better runner. So far I can't beat a 9 min. mile:( my goal is at least an 8 min. mile, at least!

4th resolution- be organized/keep my room clean. I am such an unorganized person! To an organized person (cough, cough, mom) my room is never clean... I think it's a little weird that I'm OCD, but my room looks terrible! So I need to get better at that

5th resolution- grades. Keep 'em up! That's pretty much it. My grades usually aren't lower than and a- so I think that one will be easy peasy!

New semester!

I can't decide if I'm happy about a new semester or not. 1st of all, I'm gonna miss all the fun classes with my friends. And second of all, I don't have dance:( here was my 'original' 2nd semester schedule.....
A1- orchestra
A2- pre-algebra
A3- Utah history
A4- science
B5- ceramics
B6- CTE
B7- english (which btw is still my least favorite class ever)
B8- tech:\

So I was kinda dreading tech, cause I heard there was a lot of weird and gross boys in there (not the handsome ones) so I got thinking..... If I drop tech and add dance, dance can take history's place (cause the dance teacher teaches dance on A days and aerobics on B days) then history can go in tech's place.... Pretty good thinking' huh? Ya well I went to the office on Monday to get the form...... Dance was full..... :( rawr! Soo, ya I was pretty angry. I really didn't want to take tech... So I had some choices to make, keyboarding, psychology, aerobics, drama, blah blah blah. There were more but I can't remember them.. So I said- keyboarding, no. Psychology, maybe. Aerobics, most likely. Drama, already took... And the rest were definite no's. aerobics was whereupon mind was looking toward... And I also thought, hey! Why not keep fit all year? And I signed up!
But I still had a problem.... English. You're not allowed to switch teachers so I was a little bummed until Wednesday or something... Someone from the office comes in, hands a bunch of little papers to my english teacher. My teacher reads the names that were on the little papers and I was one of them. I was a little freaked out cause I didn't know what it was for cause all it said was to go right to the office. Then me and the other people walked to the office, when we got there the lady said that the English classes were too big so we were all gonna have a different english teacher. Inside, I was wayy happy! Wahoo! No more lame english!
Then I got my new schedule the other day that I'm pretty happy with

So the only thing that changed was B8! Sweet! And my A day is exactly the same as last semester except for A3:) but I'm still super sad that the dance classes were full:((( cause every march there is try-outs for dance company, and I was hoping that I could try-out but you can only try-out if you have taken or are in a dance class at school.... And I'm not:( so I'll have to next year:( darn..... Oh well, everything happens for a reason....
P.s. where it says whereupon, ya, I didn't write that... My iPod did so I just decided to go with cause it sounded fancy:)
